KJ-The first to break a bone in the family and the first to get stitches. With four boys-yes we are surprised. She was running across the lawn at the school and a boy on a bike basically ran her over. She had tire marks on her pants, literally. I think they both hit heads. He had a big knot on his and he was out for a couple of minutes and KJ got her ear split open and a knot behind her ear, she was dazed for a momet. We went to immediate care and they wouldn't stitch an ear because of the cartilage in it so we had to go and wait four hours in the ER. The doctor wanted to glue it but it wouldnt stop bleeding (even after 4 hrs) and it wouldn't stay together. So I told him I'd rather him stitch it. She did it without getting numbed up, she only had a topical! She was tough.

We are trying to get into surgery tomorrow. You can't see my words very well but the crack in the Fibula is on the left and the Mortise is the gap around the puzzle piece that is not fitting into place it has shifted to the right. So she will have to have pins in the mortise from left to right and then up and down on the Fibula a plate. Ouch. She is in a lot of pain and more pain if from loss of school and soccer time and tournaments. Now we know how Shauna and Val feel.....bummer horrible.

Sorry once again I am announcing over cute pictures I would rather see than words. Today Marissa broke her fibula and her mortis. Her foot in human words. She will have to have surgery, pins, plates, and be out of soccer for a while. She was playing her first club game at UVU to try and impress the coach at UVU to get a scholarship there as she decided she doesn't want to leave state now. (only cuz of the boyfriend). Any way she shot the goal planted and turned wrong all her weight went on her foot and busted in half. She cried and Marissa never cries. Today was also Bradley birthday party. Happy Birthday Bradley. It was a long day after trick or treating and Marissa. Please if you can all remember her in your prayers she is going to be hurting really bad till we get surgery and her foot healing after the surgery.

Stuart's mom is here for a couple of weeks visiting so we hopped in the car with our friends and went to Pisa for the night. The drive through Tuscany was so beautiful. It made Naples look even more like a crap hole. But we had a lot of fun.

Orem High School Killed Provo 7 to 0. Did awesome and then worked hard to get more and was very frustrated with team members that she served the ball right in front of their noses and couldn't finish. Any way they play Timp on Tuesday. If they win they go in to Regionals in Second place if they loose they go in at fourth place.

Mcall's team won Sparta 2 to 1 in a close, FREEZING, horrible no center ref, and Shauna and Val came to watch game last night. Mcall has three games left and we are done for Fall season....YEAH.....

At Provo, Maggie Plothow picked up the hat trick for the Tigers in the winning effort. Plothow picked up two goals in the first half and completed the hat trick in the second half.All three goals from Plothow came by way of a corner-kick assisted header. Marissa Pay started things quickly for the Tigers with a goal 19 seconds into the game. Megan Sackett, Rosalie Jones and Monique Bori each added a goal in the win. Hilary Smith held the Bulldogs out of the Orem goal to earn the shutout.

Hate to give news above the most darling pictures from the pumpkin patch. I went to the dentist today. John Farley offically informed me that he is speaking with Mom and Dad on the 15th and that he was instructed to give the topic and speak for 20 min. He said he is in charge and will ask for forgiveness speak for two min. to introduce mom and dad with topic of missionary work, and let them have the rest of the meeting. John also told me that mom and dad would probably get off the plane and come home for an hour to drop their luggage off and get in the car to go to the office and be released on a Monday home evening night. I was thinking that the plane might be delayed if this happens it will be Tuesday night that they will be called over to be released. Then they will have to go before the board the night of 29th and report on their mission. So as for now the schedule is Mom and Dad home on Monday the 9th at 8:00 then run to the stake presidents office to be released or Tuesday night. Friday Park City with Shauna and Val to qualify for the Olympics. Then Sunday Mom and Dad homecoming in church. The 29th report on mission. If I planned on this in my life it would be all messed up and changed 20 times by tomorrow. So everyone can take in stride. Looking forward to seeing ALL our family together. Everyone PLEASE come.....!!!!

So I'm sure most of you know, but Mike was let go from his job on Friday. Today we found out that Ashlynn has Swine Flu it's official. Needless to say when it rains it pours! Mike still teaches Seminary in the morning and is loving it.
I'm asking all for prayers and a family fast for our family this Sunday the 6th of September. I'm sure the Lord has something else in mind for us, but what I have no idea, that is where my Faith will be strengthened knowing that it is in his hands.

Marissa soccer

Marissa's team played Timpview High school. They won 4 to 0 and Marissa made 2 of the goals. Hillary the goalie's dad is a photo guy. He said who ever makes a great goal will get a poster size picture of themselves. So Marissa won. The photo guy said he will have to get some more great shots of her. She is in Anatomy and medical terminology and loving every minute of it. She scheduled her wisdom teeth to be taken out over UEA which is also State for soccer. She thinks she is tough enough to do both.

Marissa and grandma went shopping yesterday and had a great time. They are reading scriptures together. Grandma is also drinking Kagen water this week for the first time. We will she if this helps her in the weeks to come.

I talked to Shauna in Canada tonight. She said Val is pushing she is not on the count of her hamstring. She is taken it slow. She is there for three weeks. GOOD LUCK to her and Val in the up coming weeks.

Kent is offical jobless again. He is home and no luck with leads or dates as the next project. So this ought to be interesting. His family reunion is this weekend and of course I haven't finished the quilts yet. Or my three papers for my class. Then the fact that I am homeschooling Mcall and Curtis. It is fun but a really long process that we are trying to master.

I went cleaning today for the first time in a week cuz I was trying to get the kids on track.

I also talked to the Bishop about the weekend you get home to speak. It is the High Council's week to speak so he is going to see if John Farley will come and speak and share the time or just see if they can trade......I will update you when and if I hear anything.

Marissa played Westlake yesterday in soccer. Westlake is the new High school in Saratoga. She made two goals with her head. YEAH! Her first day of college was today. She loves her Anatomy teacher. She was then asked by the college to represent the UCAS in Anatomy at the fair. Like the science fair. This looks good on the college application. So she is excited. She likes ALL of her teachers so far. She is at a soccer party right now hanging with the new girls. She has tons of homework. I don't know what she is doing for grandma she is never there.

So Curtis and Mcall are on their third day with their new teacher......ME the mom......I am doing K12 online school with the kids this year. They do so much more homework that real school. We got done at 8:30 tonight. I did have to go make John Farley's wife some flowers for her unbirthday. So my day was a little off. We are trying to get into a routine so that I can go back to work. This is truly a full time job. Along with my own personal school that is a full time job.

Garett said that some people asked him to go hang after school. He actually stayed after school today and got caught up. His birthday is tomorrow. He has applied for two jobs. One at scoops at UVU which is like the eatery at UVU, and here in town at the Flower Grill. He says he is also filling out an application the day he turns 16 for Walgreens that is new in town. He gets up every morning and walks to and from the bus stop. So hopefully now it has only been a week but hopefully this boy is moving on to bigger and better commitment. His friends are planning a party as we speak and they all want to take girls???? Scary. I told them they can make the girls dinner and watch a movie here. HA HA....that went over like a lead balloon. I told them they have to walk, cost no money, and be in a group of six or more, and home by dark.....I am also called the FUN SUCKER.....thats me.

Kent is going to be laid off any day the job is winding down in Laramie. Don't know what is next but we can only take it in stride and hope we don't loose our home. We have been looking for a new job since Feb.

Mcall starts season Avalanche soccer on Wednesday. She has to scrimmages this week. She loves soccer we walk and control the ball every morning and count it for PE. She is liking the home schooling so far. Curtis hate everything but is trying to be a good sport. He is a way smart kid but lazy. Just doesn't want to do the work. HMMMM Garett all over again. UGGGH.....if Garett doesn't fail this year he will pull Curtis into UCAS next year.

Wow! in three years it will only be me and Tolley....sad and glad. I got to go and finish a paper and start one for myself. I get up at 6:00 and go to be around 1 or 2 in the morning. Can't seem to change the schedule no matter how hard I try.

Went to an MTC preparation meeting tonight with the kids. Did you know that Chuck and Myrna will be on their mission in the Lords time for 2 mins and 8 seconds. So mom and dad if you want to extend you mission another 18 months then you will have served the Lord for 4 mins and 16 seconds. If you live till the ripe old age of 72 it is 2 and one half hours of the Lords time. So we have 2 and one half hours the equivalent of enough time to take a college exam to prepare to prove yourself for all eternity. There are 6.6 Billion people on the earth. We are only a small handful of members. Do you think that Satan has his sights set on all the other people in the world? 53,000 missionaries in 6.6 billion people. Who is Satan targeting????? Do we really know what is meant by the words "The bar has been risen?" They used to kick you in the butt slap your hands and send you on your mission anyway. But not any more! For the last 6,000 years Satan has been picking off people one by one so they don't go on missions. Satan's temptations shall be a testimony to us all that we were saved for this time to go forward and preach the gospel. Do we have time for X-Box? Do we have time to fight? What is our time for? We all have the same golden 24 hours in a day and again TWO AND ONE HALF OURS OF THE LORDS TIME. What are we going to do with it so we can all live together forever? I never thought about it this way before. A very interesting way to proceed with what I am going to spend my time on in the future.

K so we didnt need to get a cast. He didnt want to radiate him for such a small break and he can get away with just a splint for two weeks. He can't ride a bike, scooter, or skateboard and my favorite no rough housing for two weeks. Yeah right! So the record is still available for the first cast. My bets are on Calvin with Cody coming in second.

K so on the 8th we had our first broken bone that needs a cast. (KJ gets credit for the first broken bone, but it was her little toe and we just taped that.) Gaven broke his wrist playing superman with Cody. You know when one lays on their back and puts their feet in the air and the other one lays on the other persons feet. Well they were doing that and launching each other off of their feet and lo and behold Gaven went flying and landed on his wrist. He's been in a soft cast for almost a week but today he finally gets the real one. He can't decide between his favorite color red or glow in the dark. We will post a pic with the results!!!
Personally I was surprised it was Gaven and not Calvin. He'll probably get the most casts or the biggest cast!!!

Woolley Reunion

Well Grandma Hardman Marissa, Rachell, Mcall,and Abby went to the family reunion out to North Fork. Deffas dude ranch remember.....Well what a day. There were a total of 22 people that came. Florence and her two kids Janice and Neal. Brenda and Ross with there son Brian and a friend and then Brians son and wife Chris and ? can't remember her name. Then Brandon strolled up with Lynn and of course Yvonne was there. Ralph and Ramona came later with after Leanne and her daughter that just had a baby and the dad of the baby. We talked at and then left. Well we left grandma to visit while we went potty at the dude ranch. Mcall said oh please can we ride horses of course I said no at 25.00 a head just go pet them. Then Abby wondered why we were taking so long and come to pet horses. I was talking to the wrangler and said go get Marissa. As Marissa was walking down the wrangler says Marissa who what is your last name. Well out in the middle of NOWHERE my Marissa (takes after her dad) went to school with this kid wrangler. So to make a long story short. We got a free horse ride out the great presence of Marissa's swooning....Abby kept telling her to kiss him. I gave him a tip and told him to keep it for his mission. Sorry the picture didn't work very well but you get the picture ha ha ha I made a joke! Ha ha. We had a fun day anyway.

Happy Father's Day, Dad! Thank you for everything you have ever done for myself and my family. You are such a wonderful example to my kids, especially my boys right now. Your willingness to serve a mission has made them realize the importance in doing so and I can't thank you enough for that wonderful example that you both are setting for all of your grandkids. I appreciate your love and support in all that we do. And for being there when we need help or just someone to talk to. You are an amazing Father and I love and miss you so very much. We went to monster jam and had recently shaved Calvin's head with a razor. Mike Metzger from Metal Malitia was there and his head was shaved too, so he signed Calvin's head. I love Calvin with his ear covers on and his cheeks squeezed together.

These are pictures of our trip to Rose Hall the castle of the white witch. it was cool. I'm not sure how the order is but I started with a pict. of the front then lookiing out the front to the ocean then the entrance, the main dininng room the white witches bed room and the upstairs. She killed four of her husbands and many of her lovers.when one of her lovers found out that she killed his daughter, he killed her. She was raised by a African VooDoo priestess hence the name white witch. when the slaves were free they burnt most of the castles but not this one cause they feared she would curse them. it was built in the 1700 century cool...Mom says these are not a castle but a plantation ...

So I was searching the the garage for a week trying to prove Kent could keep his job and look what things I found........Marissas portrait of Grumpy Grandpa reading on the pot with the belt sticking out......Gabes puffy hair......Natalee legs...........Chery and Marz need to put these pictures on face book....dads bikini the best.....we have been with Gabe all week at soccer camp and I had to learn how to put pictures to computers discs, etc and now I am not so dugh....I took these pictures with my cell phone and then got them here.....sorry they are blurry......Riss comes home sat at 4 and leaves sunday at 4 for soccer in CA regional then maybe Nats for girls camp but only if they loose. If they keep winning then it will cut half of camp off so what is the use.....anyway....to our younger years.........kinda fun digging out all this stuff.

BBQ pool party

We went to our friends house Saturday and had a pool party/BBQ. We had so much fun hanging out. We need to do it more often. :) I wanted to see how Brylie would act in the bouncer they had. I've been looking into getting her one. She loved it, but needs to get a little bigger before she can actually play with it. Brylie and Isabella hanging out. I don't think she was happy that Brylie was playing with her toys and hanging at her house. Check out the dirty look...LOL Brylie was smiling at her and she was not having it. To funny!!

Marissa was on TV on the same night she flew to Tokyo Japan. We are very proud and happy for her at this time. As she is on a plane to see one of her childhood friends graduate High School in Japan. Marissa worked and saved for two years to pay for her airline ticket and spending money. She deserves all three weeks of R and R. However we hear her friend has every second planned for her while she is there.

Her soccer team also won State Cup on Saturday. This has been a long exciting year of losing every tournament as they made it to every final and then lost. So State Champs is a great title to go try again to win three or more California teams for a chance in Nationals. Marissa has learned a new position all year playing defense. She has done a great job when she got put on the field. We hope that Marissa will be able to do great in Far West Regional in Lancaster California. She leaves for California the next day after returning home from Japan. It will be interesting with jet lag.

Like the video says Marissa next year will graduate High School with a College Associates Degree. She will be taking Anatomy and Medical Terminology at the beginning of her senior year on Aug 13 2009. This is the hardest class at UVU. People tell us that they transfer to SLC schools to take this class because of teacher and level of difficulty. This will be another great milestone for Marissa to excel to higher levels in achieving or hating the medical profession in her future.

Mcall already misses her as she will be gone for a month if she goes straight to Natalee's after California to go to girls camp. She is still deciding and it might be determined by Regional anyway if they keep winning and make it to the end to win a chance to play in the Nationals.

Marissa is excited for Grandma and Grandpa to come home so she can live with them again and be closer to school. She turns 18 in October can you believe it.....maybe she should get a real job and go live on campus. Just Kidding. She told me she could do what she wanted now.....ha ha.....just wait it is not so easy on your own.

It has been a hard two days emotional for me as my little baby girl is now getting and going on in old people stuff. (I remember yesterday when Kent said put her back because she was a girl and when she came out, he held her forever. I had to ask to even see her cuz her daddy was so proud to have her). I wish her with all my heart and soul the success of happiness and future gratifying experiences that life can offer by striving to live by righteous eternal examples. I tell my kids all the time NOT to do what their parents did but to follow the righteous example of others so that they won't have to experience the hard stuff just the opportunities of good, better, and best. Having positive choices are the best kind of joy we can find hope in moving forward.

Kent is returning to WY tomorrow for more windmill adventures. They are contracted on this job till Aug and then onto who knows what so we are still looking for permanent work. Pray for Kent.....he even says he feels like he belongs somewheres else. (hick kent talk).

The boys are trying to get summer jobs and taking MATH over again, again, again, and being lazy.

Mcall made the Avalanche U11 team. It is starting now. No rest for the soccer girls at twice a week in SLC. She has been patiently waiting as we dropped the spring season so I could get the surgery and she hated every day of it. She went to the park to practice all by herself and never let me forget that she was not at soccer that day.

I am 14 weeks today from surgery. All is well I hope. Go again to the doc on Thursday. Cleaning when I can since Kent is back to work and Marz will help me when she can. I lost a couple more houses due to economy and so need the money to myself but one a day still kicks my butt. I need more energy and bending gut muscles back as they stabbed them but didn't cut the fat off.

It is now 12:40 a.m. and I have two more hours to wait for the phone call that she is safely in the hands of another trusted sister friend. I am studying anyway. (At this point the kid will graduate before the mom does).

Memorial Flowers

Holly made this and won't let me pay for it......I went to get it on Friday night and put it on Grandma and Grandpas grave at dusk cool picture hugh.......Marianne and Jeff put flowers on Grandpa Hardmans and watered this one again and used hangers to stake it down. It has been raining like you would not believe on and off for the past two days. Marissa is leaving in less than 12 hours for Japan.

I did a NBC photo shoot this week in LA. Getty images took about 80 photos but only posted a few on their site. I am also waiting for some photos where I had to take pictures in a red dress. I had to do it. It was for charity for AIDS. That is the only way they got me in that dress. HAHAHA. I will post them if they ever send them to me.

To my mom on Mother's Day......Thanks for all the wonderful things that life has brought because you are our mom. I have been able to appreciate all the wonderful examples of kindness that are not here since you have been gone on your mission. We miss you very much and hope that those people appreciate all that you are giving them by your example also. My Garett picked me about 20 small sun flowers and stuck them in a bud vase about two feet tall and attached a card. We I got home the first thing I noticed was the flowers and thought someone had delivered me flowers. (they looked like a florist had arranged them). They were perfect and the card was from his heart when he said that it was a poor attempt for a Mother's Day Gift. Sadly enough it has been the first Mother's Day gift I have ever received that wasn't the cheesy children's handmade gifts. I also woke up this morning to a note from Curtis that expressed if he had a million roses that thats how many times I had his thanks. These little acts of kindness has been very appreciated this special day.

Again to my mom and now to my sisters. I hope that in a small way that any note of appreciation could touch you all today as much as my boys have moved me. I LOVE and appreciate all the examples that you are to me by you being the moms of your families. You are all unique and DO being a mom different than I do. I look up to you and admire each of you for the ideas and examples that you DO as mother's. As for Shauna you don't need a family to be a mom to us all and our children. I appreciate your example and support at being a mom as well.

For Grandma Hardman this day. We have made a computer out of poster board and have wrapped it up and are going to give it to her along with a gift certificate to Apple bee's her favorite place to eat.....The computer I am getting for her can't be picked up until tomorrow. So hopefully after church we can get up there fast and she won't feel forgotten today on her day of being honored as a Mother and bestest grandma on the earth.

So to us all this day and for the guys that are also the mother's some days. HAPPY MOTHERS DAY.

Here are a few pictures from me and Vals trip to Antigua. We spent 8 days on a sailboat and sailed around the island of Antigua. It was quite the experience. We stayed in a different place each night so we got to see a lot of the island. ENJOY!
